A great fence is an asset to a property. That’s without question! Just as important, however, is a fantastic gate to allow access to your property. We stock a large range of gates in many different styles, shapes and colours and constructed from metal or wood. From small wooden sidewalk gates and pool gates, to automated driveway gates, or large commercial automatic gates or boom gates, we can provide you with expert advice on an appropriate gate for your property and install it professionally. 
Balconies

These days balcony fencing can be made from many different materials. Our wire strand balcony fences are a popular choice, as are wooden slat fences. Meanwhile, a modern glass panel balcony fence would really make a statement on a two storey cement rendered home with boxy angles and bold colours. There are countless looks that can be achieved and a material to suit every budget. It must be noted, however, that whilst we are experienced professionals who can advise and guide you on your Sydney fencing options, there are various building codes in operation in the Sydney's North shore area and you must check which codes apply to your property personally, to ensure your new balcony meets the relevant regulations.

Pool Fencing

North Shore Fencing and Gates can also provide you with modern fencing for your pool area. Pool fencing no longer needs to look visually unappealing. Our modern tubular pool fences come in a variety of different colours and styles which can add a bit of colour and flair to your pool area. Our glass panel pool fences are also gaining popularity, with their minimalist design that exudes style and draws the eye to the sparkling pool itself, rather than the fence surrounding it.

All pool fencing included Frameless and Semi Frameless in Glass and Aluminium. All these are custom designed for you.

Did you know NSW has very strict pool fencing regulations? Most pools constructed after 1990 must be fenced (with a few exceptions) and ALL pools including inflatable pools built after 2010 now require a fence separating the pool from the residence. There are regulations attached to pool gates also. Pool gates must open outwards and have self-closing and self-latching features, for example. As of 29 April 2016, not only must pools be fenced, all properties which are leased or sold in NSW must have a certificate of compliance or a certificate of occupation and a certificate of registration. If you are buying, selling or leasing a property and your pool fence or pool gate does not meet the regulations in order to obtain a certificate of compliance, give our pool fencing contractors a call. We can supply, install or repair your pool fence in order to help you obtain a certificate of compliance.

Tubular fence
Our tubular fences are very popular when used as a pool fence. They are constructed of steel or aluminium and powder coated, so they last well outdoors, don’t obstruct the views of the pool as much as a solid fence would and are low maintenance. Our tubular fences are also popular in commercial uses, particularly to surround playgrounds and schools. Optional decorative spear heads can also be added to the tops of our tube fences.


Chainwire fence
Our chainwire fences are often used to surround commercial properties, schools and other public buildings and can be installed with or without top and bottom steel rails. They are particularly cost effective when used to surround larger areas.


Weldmesh fence
Our Weldmesh fences are generally used as an alternative to Chainwire fences. They are sturdier since the wire is thicker and welded together rather than woven. They are built to last outdoors and as such are very durable.
